The main aim of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between WASD and Effat University is to publish the biannual journal “Middle Eastern Journal of Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Sustainable Development (MEJELSD)”.
In the MOA, WASD issued new ISSN and ISBN for the journal. WASD used reasonable endeavours to ensure that all editorial relationships and networks are retained as part of the agreement. WASD also includes a link from the journal webpages to EFFAT website.
- The first journal edition is published after six months of signing the agreement.
- WASD and Effat are jointly responsible for the Editorial work and Editorial Advisory Board management for the lifetime of the journal. Editorial Advisory board will have the Effat representation. Both parties will develop modus operandi to realise this work.
- The scope of the journal will be reflective of the content published and will be reviewed annually jointly by WASD and Effat. Both parties will provide list of editors and reviewers which will be jointly approved. From Effat University it will include the department chairs and the dean of the college of business for the papers relevant to their fields.
