Overview
The World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD), together with its partners, SDGs Universities Platform, the International Diaspora Project/Sudan Knowledge (SK) and the Middle Eastern Knowledge Economy Institute (MEKEI) organise regular multi-disciplinary In Focus networking events with key leaders and decision makers from the diaspora communities in the UK and across the world.
In this series of InFocus (Sustainability, Diaspora, MENA, Women, Youth), international experts (Prime Ministers, Minsters, Senior Government Officials, Vice Chancellors, Students, Researchers, Practitioners, Policy-makers, Ordinary citizen) from the public and private sectors share their views on various global issue relating to SD and SDGs. Experts also share their view points as to how the active diaspora community can effectively contribute to conflict prevention, management and conflict resolution as foundations for achieving peace and good governance in this fragile atmosphere of general suspicion and fear.
Participants
Each InFocus (Talks/Interview) is different ranging from 25-45 mins with key leaders and decision makers. The list of Interviews and Talks include Prime Ministers, Minsters, Senior Government Officials, Vice Chancellors, Students, Researchers, Practitioners, Policy-makers, Ordinary citizen. We hope these Talks and Interview will be watched by many people across the globe and they can also be used as an excellent resources for your academic and professional activities.
