The workshop will be facilitated by three of the world-renowned experts in Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Management and Leadership, Professors Dhiya Al-Jumeily, Hongmei (Mary) He and Allam Ahmed .
This workshop has been designed to introduce a variety of fundamental perspectives on Digital Transformation (DT), Leadership and Organizational Excellence in Healthcare. More focus in the workshop will be on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science (DS) and Knowledge Management (KM) to build future leaders in the healthcare sector who are able to respond to the ever-growing challenges facing the future initiatives in healthcare particularly digital health.
The workshop aims to enable leaders in the healthcare sector and decision makers to introduce fit-for-purpose AI, DS and KM applications and approaches to their organisations to respond to evolving challenges. The workshop will therefore explain why tools such as AI, Robotics, etc can be suitable for certain types of problems and how AI solutions can be designed and developed to improve the quality of citizen’s life.
Participants will be enlightened on how much AI and other tools has the potential to make our lives better in almost all fields particularly in the healthcare sector. It gives us the tools necessary to learn from and capitalise on human experience and perform complex tasks such as recommending solutions based on processing large amounts of data.
Topics will include but not limited to:
- AI-driven diagnostics, image analysis, and the integration of AI in medical devices and imaging technologies.
- Deep understanding of DT and their underpinnings theories and models with more emphasis on healthcare.

- AI and novel technologies for on-spot identification of counterfeit and substandard medicines
