WASD’s London Institute of Sustainable Development (LISD), United Kingdom, and Universitas Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday 25th June 2026 at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, UK
The MoU was signed by Professor Allam Ahmed, Founder and Director of LISD, UK and Professor Dewi Darlan, Director Partnership and Internationalization, University f Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, who signed on behalf of the Rector of University of Sumatera Utara
The MoU establishes a strategic partnership in:

• Education and postgraduate programme development
• Research, innovation, and knowledge exchange
• Academic collaboration and community engagement

A key focus of the agreement is that all postgraduate programmes offered by LISD in collaboration with Universitas Sumatera Utara, including Postgraduate Diploma and MBA programmes, will be formally accredited by Universitas Sumatera Utara.
