Prof. Nassereldeen Ahmed Kabbashi

Professor Nassereldeen Ahmed Kabbashi started his career as an engineer in 1988 in Sudan Textile Factory, then joined the Governmental Sector at the Ministry of Physical Planning and Public Utilities, and moved to a private sector by 1993-1995. He started with teaching Process Control at Kulliyyah of Engineering in 2002, later he developed several courses for the Biotechnology Engineering Department as Safely and Instrumentation Engineering, Solid Waste Engineering, Hazardous Wastes Management, Process Plant Design and Safety, and Water Treatment Plant Design. Prof. Kabbashi is an advisor on Water and Wastewater Treatment plant with UNDP under a programme of Transfer of Knowledge through National Experts (TOKTEN). He has authored numerous technical reports on the topic and as an expert with UNDP for surface water quality management. He is also an advisor to many prominent environmental firms and an Adjunct Professor in the Sudan University for Science and Technology. Because of his expertise, he has memberships of: International Water Association (IWA), International Water History Association (IWHA), Sudanese Engineering Organization, Journal: Environmental Science & Technology. A resource person of the Sudan Energy Centre, Prof. Kabbashi has extensively contributed through his writings on different aspects of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, Bioenergy, Water Quality Processes and Kinetics, Environmental Management and Air Pollution Control, Renewable Energy, Biodiesel and Bioethanol, Water and Wastewater Quality Characterization, Solid Waste Management, Modeling and Assessment.
