Dr Jonathan Wilson is Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Richmond American University London. Professor Wilson’s career began over twenty years ago in industry, before branching out into academia and consulting – where he specialises in the ABCDs of Business and Culture: Advertising, Branding, Communications, and Digital. Professor Wilson is an appointed Halal Marketing and Branding consultant, and Tourism Officer to the Ministry of Tourism, for the Republic of Indonesia; an Executive Trainer for Al Jazeera Media Network; Advisor for luxury fashion label The ISHU, and Innovation and Research firm Stylus; and Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Islamic Marketing. Professor Wilson has spoken at conferences across the globe on over 100 occasions, and published over 200 pieces of work in, amongst others: Harvard Business Review, The Guardian, Huffington Post, Thomson Reuters, and The Marketeers. In 2015, Islamica 500 listed him in the Top 50 Global Thought Leaders for his work in Islamic Economics, Halal Branding, and Muslim Millennials.
