Christopher Clark is a specialist in external affairs and international public-private partnerships. He is currently the Head of Sector Membership for the ITU, the United Nations specialized agency for ICT, where he is responsible for managing ITU’s relationship with its 700 member organizations, including leading ICT companies, international and regional organizations and academia. Until recently, he coordinated public-private partnerships for ITU, bringing together industry, governments and development banks to collaborate on ICT projects. Prior to that, he was a member of the Executive Secretariat that organized the World Summit on the Information Society, where he managed fundraising and sponsorships. A Canadian national, he has served as Policy Advisor in the Prime Minister’s Office and Senior Policy Advisor to the Industry Minister. He has also held roles as a business development manager with a simulation and training company and policy analyst with a Canadian NGO. In his spare time, he co-founded a non-profit online networking platform (www.xeebee.org) for professional meetings. Chris has an M.B.A., specializing in international marketing, and an M.A. in Public Policy. He recently completed post-graduate studies in sustainable business at Cambridge University in the UK. Chris is also learning Spanish, after having completed United Nations proficiency courses in French.
