Dr. Oluwatoyin D. Kolawole
Dr. Oluwatoyin Dare Kolawole received his PhD and MA in Rural Sociology and Development Studies, respectively. He works at the interface of science, policy and agriculture in Africa. His interests are mainly in sustainable agriculture, indigenous knowledge, social change and rural development. His current work in climate change addresses some pertinent issues in the strategies involved in engaging farmers, weather scientists and other stakeholders in the implementation of a sustainable climate change adaptation project. He is a member of many professional networks and has attended conferences and presented papers in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and Oceania. Dr Kolawole has recently been awarded the University of Canterbury Visiting Canterbury Fellowship for 2014.
